Working: AMaR-2 is a continuous flow microchannel reactor designed for challenging flow chemistry applications with extreme heat transfer requirements. With the externals being similar to a plate heat exchanger, it provides all the heat transfer benefits of a PHE, while the internals are microchannels with triangular obstructions to flow designed for reactants to mix and react efficiently.

Application: This is suitable for fast and highly exothermic reactions. Some proven applications include reactions like nitration, halogenations, sulfonations, diazotization, oxidation/reduction, etc. It’s a versatile reactor suitable for Liquid-Liquid miscible/immiscible, and also gas-liquid chemistries. |
